India, March 28 -- A Russian man who drunkenly beat a woman in London after becoming jealous of her friendship with Barron Trump was sentenced Friday to four years in prison. Matvei Rumiantsev, 23, was convicted by a jury on Jan. 28 of assault with bodily harm but acquitted of rape and choking charges. He was also convicted of perverting the course of justice for sending the woman a letter from jail asking her to retract her allegations.

The attack gained international attention after it emerged that President Donald Trump's youngest son witnessed the assault on a FaceTime call and called London police to report it.
