India, Aug. 31 -- Ten-year-old Josey Dorsey is taking his first major step into acting, six years after losing his mother, Glee star Naya Rivera. Josey has been cast in The Burning Valley, an upcoming Rust Belt drama that recently began filming in Arnold, Pennsylvania. This will mark his first theatrical film role.

The project also brings him on screen alongside his father, actor Ryan Dorsey.

Who Is Josey Dorsey?

Josey is the only child of Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey. He was born during the couple's marriage which began in 2014 and ended in divorce two years later.
