India, June 18 -- Jamie Lynn Spears is revisiting one of the most traumatic moments of her life after opening up about the 2017 ATV accident that nearly took the life of her daughter, Maddie.

In a recent interview with People, the actress talked about on the frightening incident involving her now 18-year-old daughter. Looking back at that day, Jamie Lynn admitted she believed she had lost her child after an ATV accident on their family property in Louisiana.

"That was the day I thought I'd lost my daughter. Against all odds, this baby girl fought to be here," she said.
