India, June 14 -- The Morocco national football team put on a competitive performance against heavyweight Brazil in the Group C opener of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Ismael Saibari lit up the MetLife Stadium with an early strike, giving the African national a surprise lead. The Brazilian defence appeared clueless as Saiberi eased past Gabriel and Marquinhos before chipping the ball to beat Alisson in the last line. The lead, however, didn't last long, as Morocco surrendered to Vinicus Jr's brilliance. The Real Madrid winger showed a spectacular solo effort to pull Brazil back into the contest.
