India, July 2 -- Former singer Gary Glitter has been charged with four additional "historic" sexual offenses in UK according to BBC. The latest charges relate to allegations involving one girl who was reportedly under the age of 13 at the time of the alleged incidents.

The accusations date back several decades with the alleged offenses said to have taken place between 1978 and 1981 at a residential property in Kensington, London. Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd, has been charged with one count of unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl under 13 and three counts of indecent assault involving a girl under 14.
