India, Aug. 1 -- Marvel Studios appears to be moving ahead with its highly anticipated X-Men reboot and one casting update has already started excitement among comic book fans. Australian actor Samara Weaving has reportedly been chosen to play Emma Frost, one of the most powerful and complicated mutants in Marvel Comics.

According to Deadline, director Jake Schreier and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige selected Weaving for the role after meeting several actors. While Marvel Studios is yet to officially confirm the casting, the report has already shifted attention to Emma Frost, a fan-favourite character who has been a hero, a villain and everything in between.
