India, Oct. 31 -- Texas State Senator Angela Paxton has attracted national attention after appearing in a television advertisement urging voters to support the Republican ticket in the November 3 election. The appeal has drawn particular interest because the ticket includes her estranged husband, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, from whom she filed for divorce in July 2025 after 38 years of marriage.

In the advertisement, Angela does not mention Ken by name. Instead, she calls on voters to support Republican candidates as a team, arguing that the party must retain its seats in Texas.
