India, Aug. 26 -- Pakistan women's fast bowler Aimen Anwar has announced her retirement from international cricket with immediate effect, ending a career that included appearances at three T20 World Cups and the 2022 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup. The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed the decision on Wednesday.

Aimen represented Pakistan between July 2016 and February 2023, featuring in eight ODIs and 37 T20Is during her international career. After several years away from the national side, the fast bowler has now formally brought her Pakistan career to a close.
