India, April 24 -- Pakistan has taken a major step toward human spaceflight after selecting two air force pilots as astronaut candidates for a future mission to China's space station. The move marks a historic moment for the country as it prepares to join the growing list of nations involved in sending humans into orbit.
Officials confirmed that the two pilots will soon travel to China for advanced astronaut training. One of them will eventually fly to space, representing Pakistan in its first-ever human spaceflight mission.
