India, July 15 -- Daylight Saving Time Bill Vote: The long-running debate over changing clocks twice a year has returned to the spotlight after the US House of Representatives passed the Sunshine Protection Act, a bill that would make Daylight Saving Time (DST) permanent across most of the country. Backed by President Donald Trump, the legislation aims to eliminate the practice of moving clocks forward in spring and backwards in autumn.
