India, May 19 -- Bharti Airtel has launched "Priority Postpaid", a new service powered by 5G slicing technology that promises a faster, more reliable, and consistent network experience even during heavy congestion.

This marks the first commercial deployment of a slicing-based 5G service in India, as telecom operators increasingly look beyond tariff hikes and focus on premiumisation through differentiated digital and network offerings.
