India, July 12 -- Conor McGregor's long-awaited UFC return ended on a painful note as the former two-division champion left T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas without using crutches after suffering a serious knee injury during his UFC 329 main event against Max Holloway. McGregor appeared to damage his knee while landing awkwardly after attempting a jumping roundhouse kick in the opening seconds of the fight.
