India, April 13 -- A Nigerian Air Force operation aimed at Boko Haram-linked fighters in the northeast has resulted in a major civilian tragedy after a crowded market in Yobe State was struck. Initial estimates suggest more than 100 deaths with some local accounts warning the toll could exceed 200 and making it one of the deadliest incidents in recent years.
