India, March 29 -- A great change in the weather will be experienced in India when a powerful western disturbance passes over India. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has pointed out that the day of March 29 and 30 will be the most active day and the day will bring rainfall, snowfall, thunderstorms and gusty winds to various regions.

According to meteorologists, the system is being sustained by moisture on the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal which has strengthened the instability along north and central India. The winds can attain 40 60 kmph in certain places whereas hailstorms and dust storms can still occur in some remote locations.
