India, March 27 -- India is set to witness sharp weather contrasts on March 27, as a fresh Western Disturbance triggers rain, thunderstorms, snowfall and rising temperatures across multiple regions. According to the India Meteorological Department, Gusty winds of 40-60 kmph, scattered rainfall and temperature variations can be witnessed in North India and heat and humidity of over 35C can be experienced in southern and western areas.

The system that is presently hitting the north Pakistan and neighbouring Afghanistan is slowly affecting the north plains and Himalayan areas thereby generating unpredictable weather patterns and unexpected change of temperature.
