India, April 20 -- Large parts of India are bracing for another intense weather shift as heatwave conditions intensify across northern and central regions while rainfall and snowfall are expected in hilly areas. According to India Meteorological Department, temperatures in several states are expected to cross 40degC, with isolated pockets touching 45degC while northeastern states may witness heavy rainfall, creating a stark contrast across the country.
