India, April 16 -- India's weather pattern is entering a transitional phase as rising summer temperatures collide with two incoming western disturbances while northern hills may receive rain and snowfall, large parts of the plains, including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, are set to experience a sharp rise in temperatures. Forecasts suggest several cities could cross the 40degC mark this week, marking the season's first widespread heat spell.
