India, April 6 -- India is witnessing a mix of rain, thunderstorms, gusty winds, and rising summer heat across several regions today, according to the latest updates from the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Weather conditions on April 6, 2026 are being influenced by a western disturbance in North India and moisture-laden winds in central and southern regions, which could trigger scattered rainfall and storm activity in multiple states. 

Several major cities including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and parts of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan may experience changing weather conditions throughout the day. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are also possible in some areas.
