India, Sept. 27 -- Several parts of North and Central India are facing the impact of intense rainfall, with Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh reporting flooding, waterlogging and damage to homes and crops. Uttar Pradesh has witnessed the most significant impact so far, with 13 people killed and 17 injured in separate rain-related incidents. Rivers have also risen sharply in several districts, increasing the risk of flooding.
