India, Sept. 26 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of another spell of intense rainfall across several parts of India on Saturday, September 26. A depression over southern Chhattisgarh and adjoining southern interior Odisha is moving north-northwest and is expected to weaken into a low-pressure area after around 12 hours.

The weather system is likely to bring heavy to very heavy rain to parts of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Haryana and Delhi. Strong winds, thunderstorms, waterlogging and localised flooding are also possible.
