India, June 7 -- A police investigation has been set in motion in Maharashtra's Pune after a woman claimed she saw a 'Made in Pakistan' label on a bedsheet she bought at a religious fair. The claim came to light when a video shared on social media went viral that led to authorities decided to start a probe. Police officials say, so far no formal complaint has been filed yet, still the team moved forward relying on the viral version and to verify where the product actually came from. The Pimpri-Chinchwad police has set up a special team to probe the matter further while the civic administration has been requested to take suitable action against the vendors if any irregularities are detected.
