India, Aug. 19 -- Suriya's Vishwanath & Sons has maintained a strong hold at the box office through its first five days even as the film witnessed a drop in collections on its first Tuesday. The Tamil family drama, which also released in Telugu, arrived in cinemas on August 14 and has benefited from the star power of Suriya as well as its family-oriented appeal.

The film had a particularly strong opening weekend by collecting more than Rs 58 crore net in India across its first three days according to the figures provided by Sacnilk. While Monday brought the expected weekday correction, Tuesday saw another decline.
