The Supreme Court gave its verdict on Friday (May 29) after weeks of speculation. The hearing comes after the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) moved to the Supreme Court after the Delhi HC showed the green signal to Phogat. However, the WFI argued that the 31-year-old wrestler breached the selection policy, allegedly missing trials. Phogat, in response, explained that she had been on a maternity break during the said period.
