India, Aug. 16 -- Uttarakhand School Holiday Tomorrow: There is currently no statewide school holiday announced for August 17, 2026. Schools across the state are generally expected to operate according to their regular schedules unless a District Magistrate or local administration announces a closure because of severe weather conditions.

The weather situation, however, remains a concern in several parts of Uttarakhand. Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been forecast in districts including Dehradun, Champawat, Bageshwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital. Rain-related risks could lead to local administrative decisions if roads become blocked or travelling becomes unsafe.
