India, Aug. 14 -- Uttarakhand Landslide Latest Update: Seven persons lost their lives while 14 others got injured due to a landslide that caused a flow of water and debris within the tunnel that was under construction in Mayapur area of Pipalkoti in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state on Thursday. The event took place around 7 pm at Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydroelectric Power project belonging to Tehri Hydro Development Corporation (THDC).
