India, Sept. 1 -- U.S. stock futures started September on a weaker note as rising oil prices and Treasury yields increased pressure on Wall Street. Investors are also reassessing the Federal Reserve's interest-rate outlook amid renewed inflation concerns and heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
According to Reuters, Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures were all lower in early trading on Tuesday. Chip stocks including Nvidia, Intel and AMD were among the notable decliners, while energy stocks benefited from higher crude prices.
