India, Sept. 21 -- Stocks on the US exchange advanced on Monday as lower oil prices and weaker Treasury rates provided some relief to investors after a largely poor performance on the Wall Street exchange. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 were trading positively, with the technology sector and artificial intelligence stocks among the best-performing stocks.

As of the latest stock market update, the Dow Jones Index was trading at 51,834.41, which was an increase of 151.77 or 0.29%. The Nasdaq was at 26,839.50, which had increased by 316.95 or 1.20% while the S&P 500 gained 53.34 points or 0.70%.
