India, Oct. 4 -- Wall Street opens on Monday, October 5, as traders weigh if the strong rally from Friday can be sustained despite a disappointing US jobs report that lessened hopes of a further increase in the Federal Reserve's interest rates. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite closed higher Friday, but investors will now focus on new economic indicators, treasury yields, oil prices and the Fed's monetary policy stance.

The Dow Jones climbed by 0.49 percent Friday to close at 51,176.96, while the S&P 500 added 0.73 percent, closing at 7,722.72 meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite rose by 1.19 percent, closing at 27,190.86 as the Nasdaq hit its all-time high during the session but lost some gains.
