India, Oct. 3 -- Wall Street enters Monday, October 5, with investors assessing whether Friday's strong rally can continue after a weaker-than-expected US jobs report reduced expectations for another Federal Reserve interest-rate hike this month. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite all finished higher on Friday, while investors will now turn their attention to fresh economic data, Treasury yields, oil prices and the Federal Reserve's policy outlook.

The Dow Jones gained 0.49% on Friday to close at 51,176.96, while the S&P 500 advanced 0.73% to 7,722.72. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.19% to 27,190.86. The Nasdaq briefly reached a record level during the session before giving back some gains.
