India, May 20 -- US Secretary of state Marco Rubio is all set to visit India next week. Relations between India and the US have been tense for a while now.

US Department of State's Official Announcement

The US Department of State recently confirmed that diplomat and Secretary of state Marco Rubio will pay a maiden visit to India next week. The statement was made by Tommy Pigott, a spokesperson for the Department of State and then confirmed by the US embassy in India. Rubio will fly directly to India directly after the NATO summit in Helsingborg, Sweden.
