India, Sept. 8 -- The US Open 2026 men's singles draw has reached the quarterfinal stage, with eight players left standing in the battle for the final Grand Slam title of the season. Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz leads a star-studded lineup that also features top seed Alexander Zverev, American hopes Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe and Alex Michelsen, as well as breakthrough Belgian Alexander Blockx.

Alcaraz faces a powerful test against home favourite Ben Shelton, while Zverev will look to continue his remarkable Grand Slam consistency against Botic van de Zandschulp. An all-American battle between Frances Tiafoe and Alex Michelsen guarantees one more US player in the semifinals.
