India, April 19 -- An audio recording has surfaced from Sanmar Herald, one of the two Indian vessels that were reportedly targeted by the Iran navy near Oman. The recording suggests that the tanker was fired upon despite receiving prior clearance to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to reports, two Indian ships, Jag Arnav and Sanmar Herald came under fire. This incident contradicts Iran's earlier assurance that ships from countries not involved in the conflict with the United States and Israel would not be attacked.
