India, July 20 -- Two Palestinians have died from injuries sustained in an Israeli settler attack in Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. They were the latest fatalities in a string of deadly attacks on Palestinians carried out by settlers on occupied Palestinian land as wider Middle East conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran ratchets up. According to Palestinian officials, three Palestinians were initially wounded during the attack in the town of Deir Jarir. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its medical teams treated one victim who suffered a serious abdominal injury caused by the assault.
