India, Sept. 1 -- Pakistan has renewed its diplomatic push to ease tensions between the US and Iran after fresh military exchanges brought the war back into the focus. Deputy PM and FM Ishaq Dar met Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi in Bishkek and urged both sides to sincerely implement the June 2026 Islamabad MoU.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Kyrgyzstan. Dar stressed that dialogue and diplomacy remain essential for regional stability and described the implementation of the Islamabad MoU as the only way forward.
