India, Sept. 22 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared that "people cannot be forced into submission through force" on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, just before flying to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly.

Defending National Positions: Speaking on state television prior to his departure, Pezeshkian vowed to "firmly defend" Iran's independence, dignity, and territorial integrity in international forums.
