India, Aug. 20 -- US-Israel-Iran War Latest Update: Oil prices are starting Thursday with traders caught between two opposing forces: persistent geopolitical risk in the Middle East and signs of increasing US crude supplies. With the US-Iran conflict showing no clear path toward a settlement and shipping through the Strait of Hormuz still uncertain, investors continue to price in the possibility of further supply disruptions.

Brent crude futures for October delivery rose 25 cents, or 0.3%, to $91.87 a barrel by 0037 GMT. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for September slipped 2 cents to $85.81 a barrel, while the more active October WTI contract added 14 cents, or 0.2%, to $84.53.
