The meeting is expected to discuss how Turkey and Pakistan can help Saudi Arabia. Their support will be based on the signed Mecca Joint Defence Agreement. This move follows a round of Houthi missile and drone strikes on Saudi Arabia. The Houthis said they launched dozens of missiles and drones at targets on Thursday. Saudi officials confirmed they intercepted six missiles. Emergency alerts were sent out in areas such as Mecca, Jeddah and Yanbu. Yanbu is an oil port, on the Red Sea.
