India, July 7 -- US Israel Iran War Latest News: An oil tanker sailing near the Strait of Hormuz off the coast of Oman caught fire on Monday after being struck by an "unknown projectile," according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO). The incident has once again raised concerns over maritime security in one of the world's busiest oil shipping routes. The tanker was travelling south along the Omani coast when it was hit about eight nautical miles east of Limah, Oman. The impact triggered a fire onboard, although no injuries or environmental damage have been reported.
