India, April 14 -- US-Israel-Iran War Latest News: China has responded to US President Donald Trump's threats to sink vessels approaching the US Navy blockade around the Iranian ports and the Strait of Hormuz saying that the rhetoric was "dangerous and irresponsible."

Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun, in response to a query if the US military was blocking traffic in and out of the Iranian ports, said that the US must restore normal passage at the Strait of Hormuz "as soon as possible."

Jiakun urged all the parties to adhere to the ceasefire framework reached in Islamabad and stay on course for peace, stability and dialogue to diffuse global economic crisis and regional tensions.
