India, Sept. 1 -- Two oil supertankers were struck by projectiles while passing through the Strait of Hormuz, according to maritime security reports, as the United States and Iran returned to exchanging fire after a month-long lull. The incidents involved the Sidr, operated by Saudi shipping company Bahri, and the Senegal Prosperity, operated by Sinokor. Both vessels were travelling out of the Persian Gulf when they were targeted.
