India, Sept. 19 -- Residents in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh received an all-clear message from Saudi officials who issued emergency warnings amid an aerial threat and explosions which were heard in the capital city. These warnings were issued at the end of Friday and start of Saturday when the battle between Saudi Arabia and Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen escalated.

Civil Defence in Saudi Arabia released alerts in Riyadh and other cities, urging citizens to stay indoors and adhere to safety protocols. There have been reports of explosions in Riyadh by journalists working with the news agencies of Reuters and AFP.
