India, Sept. 15 -- Fighting between the Houthis and the Saudi-backed Yemeni government has forced more than 125,000 people from their homes, with women and children among those bearing the brunt of the escalating conflict.

Civilians fleeing areas around the port city of Mocha and other conflict zones have described intense shelling, sniper fire and increasingly difficult conditions. Many families have been separated while trying to escape the violence.
