India, Oct. 1 -- US-Israel-Iran War Latest Live News: As the conflict involving Iran continues to reshape security calculations across the Middle East and Europe, NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte has argued that the United States played a role that European countries were not equipped to perform on their own. He said Washington had the military capability needed to target Iran's nuclear programme while also urging European NATO members to become more capable of dealing with threats closer to home.
