India, Sept. 24 -- A growing line of trucks on Iran's border with Turkiye is becoming a visible sign of how the war is reshaping the country's trade network. With maritime commerce severely disrupted, Tehran is trying to move more goods through neighbouring countries, but the sudden increase in land traffic is creating new bottlenecks for drivers, customs officials and businesses.

The Gurbulak-Bazergan crossing has emerged as one of Iran's most important commercial links with Turkiye. Hundreds of trucks have been waiting to enter Iran, while authorities on both sides work to increase the flow of cargo. Iran is also trying to expand trade through Pakistan and other land corridors as it looks for alternatives to its southern ports.
