India, June 23 -- In a high-stakes diplomatic manoeuvre, US Vice President JD Vance has declared that ongoing negotiations between Washington and Tehran have established a "good foundation" for a permanent resolution to the three-month-old conflict. Speaking to reporters at a lakeside resort in Switzerland, Vance signalled that while a final agreement remains a work in progress, the progress made by US negotiators marks a pivotal shift in relations between the two nations.
