India, April 16 --  Tensions in the Middle East escalated sharply after the United States strengthened its naval blockade targeting Iranian ports and shipping routes. The move has transformed the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz into a heavily monitored maritime zone, raising fears of wider conflict and global economic disruption.

Audio released by US Central Command (CENTCOM) captured American naval forces issuing a stern warning to vessels attempting to cross restricted areas. The broadcast warned ships to follow instructions or face direct enforcement action.

"Do not attempt to breach the blockade. Vessels will be boarded. If you do not comply. we will use force."
