India, May 26 -- The situation in the Middle East remains tense as Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that it has shot down multiple American military aircraft that allegedly entered Iranian airspace over the Persian Gulf. According to Iranian officials, one drone was shot down while two other aircraft were forced to retreat after Iranian defence units opened fire.

The latest development is not a good sign to end the conflict at a time when both nations are involved in discussing ways to reduce tensions after months of military confrontation. However, Iran's recent statements suggest that the country is preparing for a tougher response if the US begins fresh attacks.
