India, July 17 -- Video footage that spread rapidly across social media showing two United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents tackling a man at the airport in the Las Vegas metro area has ignited fierce public outrage and criticism from both Republicans and Democrats.

The cellphone video depicts a man crying out on the ground in Terminal 3 at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, as a man and a masked woman in plainclothes attempted to restrain, handcuff and detain him.

As the pair realised that the bystanders were recording the encounter, they walked away, according to the footage, leaving the man handcuffed to one arm and visibly shaken on the terminal floor.
