India, July 21 -- US President Donald Trump announced a new 50% tariff on some Canadian goods, blaming unfair discrimination by Canada against its own American exports. According to the White House announcement, the tariffs will be imposed for "the purpose of addressing trade practices that disadvantage US exporters.including those involving automobiles, alcohol and dairy."
