India, May 11 -- A Delta Air Lines flight DL54 that flew off the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) in the United States bound for Lagos (LOS), was forced to abort its journey mid-way across the Atlantic Ocean, returning to Georgia after eight hours of flying in the air, leaving the travellers flabbergasted.
Passengers experienced the disruption after flying nearly a full workday on the flight, only for the plane to make a U-turn and return to the starting point of the journey.
